In addition to spreading the word about open source, net neutrality, and free software applications for all platforms, the event will bring a Nimbin flavour to SFD by providing "open source" (i.e. recipe provided) food, projections of movies made using open source tools, and some very special steampunk hardware from up in the hills of Nimbin. There will also be a talk and discussion about the relevance of adopting free software in an environment of national firewalls such as that envisioned for Australia |
