The Hellenic of Linux Users Group(HEL.L.U.G.), is a NON-PROFIT ASSOCIATION, founded in 1998, with the aim of promoting Linux and Free Software / Open Source Software.

One of the main goals of the Association is the dissemination and promotion of FOSS in Education. HELLUG has a working group that helps schools install LTSP in Computer Labs.

Celebrating SFD in Saturday 26/9/2021, 20:00-22:00 (Greece time)

Well !! We planed in September 26, 2021, 20:00-22:00 (Greece Time), a video conference with the members of our Association and anyone interested in FOSS, to celabrate SFD this Year 2021! During the JITSI meeting:

  • we will inform about the Software Freedom Day (SFD) and the events that are organized.

  • we will inform about the creation of the new specialty "OSS Technician" for adult education, in the writing of which our Association contributed.

  • we will present ways to contribute to OSS without code skills.
