South Learning Centre lab at South Christchurch Library in Cashmere is used to demonstrate alternative desktop environments on quality i5 computers, from 10am to 4pm on 16 September, with LiveDVD or thumbdrive installs of freenix* distributions. Mint and Ubuntu-MATE Debian GNU/Linux variants are most on display but all BYO distros are welcome for helpers to bring, at https://my.christchurchcitylibraries.com/locations/SOUTH/
