About FSUGPU : FSUGPU is a Free Software Users Group at Pondicherry University which has a diverse students from multiple streams working collaboratively to promote the open culture, Creating awareness on GNU/Linux Operating System and Free Software, Conducting Workshops on Free software / GNU/Linux tools / Programming with GNU/Linux, etc.
FSUGPU is affiliated with FSHM,Puducherry.
We are a Technical + Philosophical group, where we care about the Philosophy of Free Software and Freedom / FreeSpeech over the Internet. We believe that Technology should not be restricted only to few people. It should reach million and should give users every Freedom.

We celebrate SFD by organising sessions on Freesoftware Philosophy , Securing from Online Surveillance , Open Hardware, Wiki Contribution, Creative Commons, Localisation.
