Join us on Software Freedom Day 2015, Saturday 17th of September at 12:00 for 'Say Hi to Tux: A Gentle Introduction to Linux', no prior experience is required. The event will include:
- Ethos behind FLOSS Hardware and Software.
- Demonstration of Linux installation.
- The Linux Front-end, explaining what a Desktop Environment is and why there are so many choices.
- The Linux Back-end, what SSH is, how to use tools like apt and yum, etc.
- Some cakes/snacks provided, along with tea, coffee and water.
