= FreeNix =

We are a local LUG remnant and use a community library ICT lab to demonstrate FOSS, help with fresh installs, do presentations on FOSS topics, etc. 

SFD acts as our annual special event for promoting monthly 'FreeNix' workshops, on the first Wednesday night, at the same venue.

Our SFD16 event detail is:

10am to 4pm Saturday,
17 September 2016,
South Learning Centre PC lab,
South Christchurch Library,
66 Colombo Street, Cashmere
