USMSFD
This group is composed of IT professionals and practitioners both in academe and industry, IT students and private individuals whose advocacy is promoting the use of Free Software and its virtues (meaning anyone can be productive without violating the anti-piracy law.) This group commits to increase the awareness of free and open source software in the province of North Cotabato by conducting trainings and lectures.
USMSFD is being initiated by Mr. Eugene G. Ranjo and start celebrating SFD since 2008. Mr. Eugene G. Ranjo a Linux/Network System Administrator, Web Developer, and Entrepreneur has taught Linux (Debian and Ubuntu Server) in tertiary level especially undergraduate and graduate students since 2006.
