i3 Detroit
i3 Detroit is a Hackerspace/Makerspace. We are a Non-Profit organization that is effectively a shared working environment. We have areas dedicated to Computers, Electronics, Laser Cutters, 3D Printers, Welding, Woodworking, Machining and much more! At i3 Detroit we try to embody the Open Source spirit in everything we do, sharing what we created and how we do it.

We will be demonstrating various Linux distributions on popular open hardware platforms like the Raspberry Pi and Beagle Bone Black. We will also have some VIA 6 based mini-ITX systems in varied states of completeness to give away with donation to our Non-Profit organization. Additionally we will have some 8GB USB 2.0 drives which we will load with whatever FOSS software you like for a $7 donation, which is just $1 dollar over the best price available for that hardware. The $1 donation will also go to funding our Non-profit organization's computing activities.
