Software Freedom Day @ SASTRA
SFD 2013 is the first SFD at SASTRA University, Thanjavur, Tamilnadu, India.
Today we enjoy the freedom of using Free Softwares. Free as in Freedom, not free of cost. The credit of what we enjoy goes to Richard Stallman who founded Free Software Foundation. Throughout the world this day (Software Freedom Day) is celebrated to mark the significance of Free Software usage. And we the students of SASTRA University took an initiative to join hands in this celebration. We request everyone to take part, gain knowledge and celebrate the day…
