OSD stands for Open Source Developers.It is a group of students from Chandigarh interested in developing open source projects.

We are going to organize SFD for second time,and will hold the following tasks :

• - What is SFD and its importance? - Installation of Open-source Operating System. - Getting started with Ubuntu and introduction to basic linux commands and scripts. - Introduction to open source,its advantages and further scope in development. - Comparison between open source and non open source software. - Android and scope in android development. - Discussion about Google Summer of Code and other open source development competitions.
