Ghana/Ho Bankoe/2013 Ho Bankoe is a suburb of Ho Asogli traditional Area in the Ho Municipality of the Volta Region of the Republic of Ghana. It is located in the Central business district of Ho township. Ho is surrounded by evergreen hills such as Osofo Galenkui to (Mt Galenkui) and Adakluto (Adaklu mountains). Ho Bankoe is at the entrance to the main Ho township on the Accra-Tsito-Anyirawase-Ho trunk road. The main government establishments sited in this municipality include the Public Works Department, Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT) and GOIL filling station. The former State Transport Corporation bus terminal is located here known as Civic centre. The nites are lively with music from entertainment and nite clubs. The Woezor Hotel can be found to the North-western end near the Ghana Highway Authority offices. OLA girls' secondary school is one of the many educational institutions within Ho Bankoe which is about 300 metres from the Central Market and Metro Mass Transit bus terminal. The YMCA hostel is in the heart of Bankoe,just 50 metres from the STC yard.
