Pickering (population 94,000) is a city located in Southern Ontario, Canada immediately east of Toronto in Durham Region. It is part of the Greater Toronto Area, the largest metropolitan area in Canada. Pickering Central Library is the official host for the Pickering Software Freedom Day event.
In collaboration of the Pickering Public Library Team and Local Technology Non-Profit Magnezone World, We will be celebrating Software Freedom Day and Teaching the general public about Linux and the freedoms and innovations of open source technology!
