Software Freedom Day Chicago 2012
FreeGeek Chicago is a not-for-profit community organization that recycles used computers and parts to provide functional computers, education, internet access and job skills training to those who want them. FreeGeek advocates for the humane, environmentally-friendly use of information technology.
FreeGeek Chicago will be hosting this year an event celebrating Software Freedom Day. We invite you and all the friends of software freedom in Chicago to join us in our hackerspace during this annual celebration on September 15th.

Activities along the day:
- Talks/workshops (the schedule will be posted)
- Hack Fest
- Open source gaming (i.e. LAN party)
- Distro demostrations
