The Gnome Project: To be involved with the GNOME hackfest, it would be best to have your own computer or laptop with a recent version of GNOME 2 or GNOME 3 running on it. It would be okay to use GNOME via a LiveCD or Live USB. Much of GNOME is written in C and Python. People who have experience and interest in these areas will be given guidance about how to work with the code.
