University of the Philippines Linux Users Group (UnPLUG)

UnPLUG is a duly recognized UP student organization dedicated in promoting the use of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) and in advocating FOSS philosophy through seminars, trainings, and software development.

They organize events such as InFLUX (Introduction to FOSS and Linux), KSS (Knowledge Sharing Session), UnPLUG and Play, Software Freedom Day, among others. They also participate in the yearly Philippine Congress in Information Technology (Y4iT) as one of the student volunteer organizations.

Every year, UnPLUG joins the world in celebrating Software Freedom Day by partnering with other local FOSS groups in holding seminars and conducting trainings. Since 2011, UnPLUG shifted its target audience to high school students to help them know FOSS at such an early age.
