FOSS@RIT is an applied research center and a clearing house for all things FOSS related at RIT. Our website is the distribution and communication home of the Humanitarian Free and Open Source Software Development Course offered by the RIT Department of Interactive Games and Media.

It is the virtual home of the FOSSBox, lab in the Center for Student Innovation and the projects and papers that emerge from independent study, student campus jobs, co-ops and undergraduate research fellowships that use the lab.

It coordinates FOSS speaker visits, POSSE sessions, Software Freedom Day '10 and '11, and other hackathons, User Group Meetings, and FOSS Related programming.
