There will be an opportunity to try out various free software applications on both Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms. Visitors will be able to pick up information on the solutions and take away CDs and memory sticks loaded with software. Free "Live sticks" will also be available, which enable a user to safely try out free software (such as the Ubuntu operating system) on their computer when they connect the memory stick. When the memory stick is removed, their computer will restart in its normal state – the safest and best way for users to try out before committing. | At the event there was the opportunity for all visitors to try out various free software applications on Microsoft Windows and Linux platforms.
