Major rivers in the Cayo District include the [[WikiPedia:Macal_River|Macal River]] and the [[WikiPedia:Mopan_River|Mopan River]]. === Importance and location === The Cayo District is primarily an agricultural district, with the chief crops being [[WikiPedia:Citrus|citrus]], (oranges, grapefruit, and [[WikiPedia:Tangerine|tangerine]]), as well as bananas. Recently oil was found in [[WikiPedia:Spanish_Lookout|Spanish Lookout]] and is now in production. There are 2 major highways in the District. The [[WikiPedia:Western_Highway,_Belize|Western Highway]] runs from [[WikiPedia:Belize_City|Belize City]] to the [[WikiPedia:Guatemala|Guatemalan]] border, and the [[WikiPedia:Hummingbird_Highway|Hummingbird Highway]] which starts in Belmopan and ends at the juncture of the Coastal Road and the [[WikiPedia:Southern_Highway|Southern Highway]] in the [[WikiPedia:Stann_Creek_District|Stann Creek District]].
