Mysłowice

Mysłowice (śl. Myslowicy, czes. Myslovice, niem. Myslowitz) – miasto położone w południowej Polsce, w województwie śląskim, w centrum Górnośląskiego Okręgu Przemysłowego (GOP).

Patronem miasta jest ustanowiony bullą papieską w roku 2000 św. Jan Chrzciciel. Postać świętego umieszczona jest również w herbie miejskim zatwierdzonym przez MSW RP w 1937 roku i opublikowanym w Monitorze Polskim nr 130, poz. 207
