The plaza of the National Library Building, 100 Victoria Street, Singapore 188064

The plaza is a sheltered, open-air space on the ground floor level of the National Library Building. Located in the heart of Singapore's city center, it is easily reached by public transportation.

The event will consist of single-table exhibits manned by FOSS community groups, FOSS-oriented businesses, and educational groups. The exhibits will be grouped into "Pavilions", each of which will be dedicated to the following themes:

  • Entertainment
  • Mobile computing and telephony
  • Productivity
  • Web sites and Social Networking

The target audience is the general public, students, and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).

News

  • 28Aug10: We have published issue #1 of our newsletter, which provides information for our volunteers, exhibitors and sponsors. It is archived at: SFDS 2010 newsletter Issue #1, 28 August 2010

  • 10Sep10: We have registered 10 different FOSS-oriented businesses and community groups as exhibitors at the event. Details are available on our Exhibitors page. Also, Novell has joined us as a sponsor. They will provide copies of Suse 11 SP1 and other gifts for attendees of the event.
