* Do come say hi on 19 Sept from 10am and learn about software freedom, with Free and Open-Source Software!
SFD20 Event Report
* We significantly grew Software Freedom Day attendance on that of the previous two years, which had been absolute minimal.
* We combined the activities of two community tech groups (one old, one new from 2020) to do this.
* We discussed and confirmed systems for increasing continued FOSS community activity, combined.
* We recognised the necessity to implement and focus on online conferencing capacity, as a constant feature of our meetings, e.g. https://bigbluebutton.org / http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/VideoConferencing etc (viz covid-19 limits and global convenience).
* We acknowledged the significance of Minecraft culture as recreational, educational and social connecting tool, of interest for all age groups.
* We planned towards growing meetings and adoption of a Hytale culture, to improve upon Minecraft's within two years, for SFD22: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hytale + https://hytale.com - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minecraft
* We hope to attract commercial FOSS service providers to our expo event and would expand or relocate our demonstration space accordingly.
* Our SFD20 pix are added here: https://www.meetup.com/Chchtech/events/273085370/
