SAEC FOSS Club will organize the Software Freedom Day

 * Speech on Software Freedom
 * Awareness talk and Demonstration of open source tools.

It aims to create awareness on FOSS and to promote its usage among the student community, teaching and non-teaching staff and the public. Apart from the advocacy programme, the club will also concentrate on training and development of Open Source softwares.
