SFD 2014/Isle of Man
Situated between the coastlines of England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales, in the middle of the Irish Sea, you’ll find our beautiful Island. The Isle of Man is a self-governing possession of the Crown with head of state Queen Elizabeth II, who holds the title of Lord of Mann. The Lord of Mann is represented on the island by a Lieutenant Governor, but the island's foreign relations and defence are the responsibility of the British Government. The island is not part of the United Kingdom.
Blessed with an extensive coastline, stunning natural landscapes and unspoilt beaches, the Isle of Man is a perfect holiday destination that’s within easy reach of the rest of the British Isles.
