Alexandria ACM Student Chapter is belonging to the International Association for Computing Machinery across the globe. The chapter is dedicated to serve the computer science, its students (Mainly CSED | Faculty of Engineering | Alexandria University) and anyone who is thoroughly interested in Computer Science.
The ACM is a global message and a world wide standardized association for any of those who are taking the Software Engineering Career seriously allowing them to access to number of world's most appreciated and leading publications, documentations and dedicated knowledge shared in many forms organized by the chapter and given by highly experienced elite specialists who honorably joined the ACM long time ago or we are looking forward for them to join.
Alex ACM S.C. is a collective expression from Software Engineers, Academics, and others in the field of computer science that aims with all it has in hand to parallel them, integrate their roles and widen their horizons and broaden their knowledge about what's in the field and what the forefront leading people of the field are doing it.
Our Chapter moves the rigid way this life time science is being taught anywhere. It changes the concepts of learning by finding "how to" from books. Because software engineering is a path with footsteps ahead unlike any other science. In terms of SW Engineering, Books only solve yesterday problems but, here, we're attempting to collate, define and solve tomorrow problems.
The Software World is having no constant facts, only one fact that is unchanging that it is inconstantly changing and unexpectedly either. ACM is adapting the students of computer science to keep up with this fact to change with it and match it at any turn no matter where it goes ... simplifying the complexities and outmatch the required for them to cope with the change and lead the change.
It's only about Education ... Research ... Practice.
