The Story:

The Ubuntu-Utah LoCo wanted to put some
Ubuntu CDs in the local computer
establishments. That meant they had to
look good. Ubuntu CDs look great, but
a pile of CDs is...somewhat lacking.

From nececity was born the single sheet,
easy to make CD stand. It is made from a
single 8 1/2 x 11 inch piece of paper (US
letter sized).

The Stand:

The stand was created entirely in Inkscape
on Ubuntu. Original design by Michael
Moore (stuporglue@gmail.com). Layout
and graphics help from Brian Burger. The
A4 version was created by Joshua Henderson
(ubuntu@joshhendo.com) with just a few
minor changes. Other help came from members
of the Ubuntu Marketing team.

As mentioned above, it is made of a single
sheet of US letter sized paper. It holds
10 Ship-it CD sets.

of the stand construction.

it for any use without cost or obligation.
