Virtusa Open Source Interest Group
The Virtusa Open Source Interest Group targets Open Source learning, Research & Development and contribution from within Virtusa Corporation, which is one of the largest IT service providers within Sri Lanka. Contribution is targeted in such fields as disaster management software, mobility and operating systems. As Virtusa greatly benefits from many open source solutions, it is considered our responsibility to contribute back towards the betterment of open source software.
This team plans to organize a Software Freedom Day event in the week leading up to the 20th of September, where Virtusans and other members of the IT industry will gather to celebrate freedom in software.
