Mark to follow up with Willem on this | We agreed to setup a web site for people to register to attend the event. (Not compulsorary) We want to get an idea of numbers but more importantly we would like it to become a central site to link to the various foss user groups and where we can aggregate event information such as user group meetings etc. |

. We don't want it to be location specific, other than South Africa, but will probably have a break down by province in the long run. To make sure we don't end up in any corporate politics we want to ensure all corporate sponsors etc and mentions only on one page. Willem can you help? . 2011/South Africa/MidrandJHBPTA
After consultation with the various user groups and parties interested in SFD it was decided to hold SFD at a location somewhere in Midrand. We estimate the venue size should be able to accommodate 50-60 people. We are still looking for venues but the following have been suggested:
- Vodaworld(Sven to report on costs)
- The Forum at The Campus in Bryanstone (not Midrand but another suggestion of a venue that would fit our needs)
ICT@innovation can provide logisticallly support in sourcing quotes for venue and general admin/logistical support. (George Nyambuya george.nyambuya@giz.de )
- TODO:- To obtain venue Quotes including catering and all facility support i.e projectors, plugs, power etc.
