Virtual instrumentation is about combining hardware modules with software modules that together form cost efficient instrumentation. At present LabVIEW is the leader in this field. In FOSS, GNURadio appears very promising together with Scilab + Comedi + OpenCV + HART Toolbox + RTAI(Real Time Application Interface) 2.Spoken-Tutorials language translation's dead air (muted period) When English spoken tutorials are translated to regional language, then due to slightly different amount of time to convey the same "phrase", there is a small duration of *silence*. This time gap needs to be filled with some background music. An automated way of solving this problem is desired. 3.Pitivi video slicing bug: The problem appears when a video is sliced in multiple chunks and any alteration like adding few more chunks to the existing video results in loss of synchronization of audio and video. We are looking for a solution that might solve this problem. = Location = '''''Saturday, 17th September, Between 10 am to 4.30 pm, Victor Menezes Convention Center(VMCC), Ground floor, Powai, IIT Bombay, Mumbai - 400076.
