= openSUSE SDF Florina =

openSUSE community with local help, will be at the center of the city, informing people about Free Software.

REPORT:

We gathered at the center of Florina to celebrate SFD. The organizer, took the bus from Thessaloniki (2 hours drive). Since we didn't apply for promo materials (didn't catch deadline), we asked local communities to send us promo materials. openSUSE (organizers), Ubuntu and Fedora sent us DVDs, leaflets etc. We also made some open source software disks for windows.

We published about the event to local news, newspapers and tv stations, web blogs etc. Also promote it to schools.
Journalists were amazed and wanted to learn more about open source for their job and for personal use.
Also teachers came and ask us about open source programs.
Both journalists and teachers, asked to make more events in Florina.
