FrOSCamp
FrOSCamp is organized in line with the SFD and will happen at ETH Zurich in September. It is completely free of charge and no preregistration for visitors is required. The event consists of an exhibition, talks, workshops and hackfests featuring free and open source software, free content, open standards, open systems and digital sustainability. People and projects are invited to demonstrate their work and to explain visitors said topics. The event is free of any commercial offerings (save swag, snacks and beverages) and is open to any visitor. Projects should take the chance to hold their yearly meeting during the gathering as we allow them to realize their own ideas by providing all the space and infrastructure.
We will also have a fancy party with creative commons licensed beer and music in the evening of the first event day.
