SFD:

Cosenza

Cosenza is a city and comune in Calabria, southern Italy, located at the confluence of two rivers: the Busento and the Crathis. The municipal population is of around 70,000. The urban area, however, counts over 260,000 inhabitants.

Thanks to its cultural past, Cosenza was known in antiquity as the Athens of Calabria. The Cosentian Academy, for example, was one of the very first academies to be founded in Europe (1511). To this day, the city remains an important cultural centre with several museums, theatres, numerous libraries, and the University of Calabria.

Software Freedom Day 2010

This year's edition of the Software Freedom Day will take place in two schools:

Liceo Classico B. Telesio and Liceo Scientifico E. Fermi, in Cosenza.

Our teams will be talking to the students and distributing Free Software CDs.

Here's a copy of the flyer (pdf, about 2Mb) distributed to the kids Saturday Sept. 18.

Please add links to your team(s) name here:

(The idea of adding another team page is that there many be more than one team in a region/city)

Create a new Team page:

In all cases you need to keep the CategoryRegion to allow your page/region to be listed!
