FOSSGEN or FOSS Generation , a school-based FOSS community of enthusiasts, students and practicing alumni professionals, joins in the global celebration of Software Freedom Day 2010 to promote Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) scheduled for Sept 18, 2010. COMTECH Institute is the host of this event.
This is our second year to participate in the global celebration. We are glad to be able to gather about 350 plus participants in our first year campus-wide knowledge-sharing and demo skills two-day event. Programmers from the Mayor's Office and friends gladly listened to our discussions and watched our demos. It was totally fun for all of us. We look forward to a more meaningful exchange of know-how this year around. Looking forward to make it brighter and fun for all participants!
