We at [[http://smvdu.net.in|Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU)]], actively promote and use the open-source technologies. Our aim is to let the world know the power of open-source. We know - the more we contribute more, the more we get back. We think sharing of Knowledge, increases it. 

We/our team have been contributing to the open-source since last few years by organizing Software Freedom Day in our campus. We invite students from various institute and organize competitions and interactive sessions for them.
